Group Music Classes at Learning Allegro

Fall is just around the corner, and Learning Allegro has some super exciting news to share! We are officially launching our fall Group Classes! Yay!

So, when you’re thinking of signing up your child for music lessons, how do you decide between private lessons, group classes, or both?

To help you in your decision, I wanted to share some ways that group classes really shine, and share about our group classes that start in September.

Why Choose Group Classes?

Group classes are specially designed for beginners. Children learn the basics of their chosen instrument step-by-step, with guidance from experienced instructors who know how to keep things fun and engaging.

In a group setting, kids stay motivated by watching and playing alongside their peers. They learn how to listen to one another, take turns, and even collaborate on mini performances. These social connections often lead to increased confidence and lasting friendships.

We know that research shows how music education boosts brain development, memory, and problem-solving. What is even more amazing is that group classes also support emotional well-being by encouraging self-expression and reducing performance anxiety in a relaxed, team-like atmosphere.

Our group classes give students the tools they need to transition confidently into private lessons or ensemble playing later on. They’ll build essential skills in rhythm, ear training, note reading, and more, all while having a great time.

Group music classes begin this September, and spots are limited to keep class sizes small and personalized. Registration is now open, and we encourage families to enroll early to reserve a seat.
Whether your child is curious about the violin, eager to try piano, interested in learning traditional Carnatic music, fascinated by music theory, or just beginning their musical journey with our Intro to Music class, our group classes are the perfect place to start.

You can learn more and register at learningallegro.com, and also learn more about our Art Group Classes with a registration link for both, because combining art and music is a great way to encourage creativity!
