Student Spotlight: Meet Anna!
At Learning Allegro, we are PROUD of our students and their accomplishments! Take a moment to meet one of our awesome piano students, Anna.
Anna L. is in ninth grade, and she has been taking piano lessons at Learning Allegro for seven years. We have had the pleasure of hearing her play in lessons and at recitals since she was in second grade! Her current teacher is Miss Monica. Anna has a LOT of great memories from lessons — enough that, when asked, she said she had “too many memories for me to choose” — but one of her favorite parts of the year is playing in Learning Allegro’s annual Christmas concert.
(At the top of this blog post, you can see a picture of Anna doing her thing at one of our recent Christmas recitals!)
Like many young music students, Anna gets a bit of stage fright, even though we know that she works hard on practicing at home. In fact, when we asked what was the most challenging part of lessons, Anna didn’t mention the music but instead said, “Playing in front of Monica. I get nervous!” No need to be nervous around our teachers, Anna! We know you are awesome!
Anna also has a great memory! She can play “Canon in D” on the piano from memory, and someday, she hopes to learn Nocturne by Chopin. When she finishes school, she wants to be an interior designer.
Thanks for being part of the Learning Allegro family, Anna. We’re proud of you, and we’re glad you’re here!
